1. Information ARET may process
Depending on the service you use, ARET may process your name or business name, phone number, email address, service address, business-registration details, subscription and booking information, payment references, customer-support communications, service history and other information you provide through ARET Hub or an approved support channel.
2. Why ARET uses this information
ARET uses personal information to create and manage accounts, schedule and perform collections, process and reconcile payments, provide customer support, communicate service updates, manage complaints and refunds, protect the platform, prevent fraud and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
3. Location, camera and device permissions
ARET Hub may request location access to confirm service addresses and support routing, camera access to allow photos of waste or service issues, and notification permission to send collection reminders and service updates. You may withdraw device permissions in your device settings, although features that depend on a permission may stop working.
4. Communications and platform monitoring
ARET may monitor in-app support messages and other platform communications for quality assurance, customer support, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and compliance with the Terms of Service. Such information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
5. Payment and service providers
ARET may use licensed payment processors and other vetted technology, communications, hosting, mapping or service providers. Information is shared only to the extent reasonably required to provide the service, protect ARET Hub, process a customer-authorised transaction or comply with law.
6. Data retention and security
ARET applies reasonable organisational and technical safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Information is retained for operational, transaction, audit, safety and legal periods appropriate to the type of record, after which it may be deleted or anonymised where retention is no longer required.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements, you may ask ARET to provide access to, correct or delete personal information associated with your account. Requests may be made through ARET Hub or an approved support channel.
8. Account deletion
For the public deletion process, see the Account Deletion page. Deleting an account does not require ARET to erase transaction, payment, audit, safety or other records that must lawfully be retained.
